Product Overview
The Dekton saw blade is a purpose-built diamond blade engineered for the unique challenge of cutting Dekton and other ultra-compact surfaces (UCS). Dekton is one of the hardest commercial stone materials on the market — a sintered blend of glass, porcelain, and quartz that pushes regular diamond blades to their limit. Off-the-shelf granite or porcelain blades chip, glaze, and wear out fast on Dekton. This blade is different. It uses a high-frequency welded segment design (高频焊接刀头) for maximum segment retention, a silent core (静音基体) with laser-cut expansion slots to reduce vibration and noise, and a bond matrix specifically formulated for sintered stone. The result: a clean, straight cut with minimal chipping, no segment loss, and a smooth edge that often eliminates the need for downstream polishing.Wet cutting only. Water is essential — it cools the segment bond, washes the abrasive slurry, and prevents the thermal stress that cracks Dekton.
Why a Special Blade for Dekton?
Dekton is not a normal stone. It is made by sintering raw minerals at over 1200°C under extreme pressure, producing an ultra-dense, ultra-hard surface with almost zero porosity and a Mohs hardness of 8. That makes it beautiful, but it also means:- Regular granite blades glaze over within minutes and the diamond stops cutting.
- Regular porcelain blades chip the edge badly and overheat the segment bond.
- Regular turbo blades segment on the rim fracture from the heat.
Key Features & Customer Pain Points Solved
High-Frequency Welded Segments
Segments are laser-brazed / high-frequency welded to the steel core. The segment will not release even under heavy load — no risk of “tooth loss” mid-cut on expensive Dekton slabs.Wet-Cut Only with Stable Cooling
Engineered for water-cooled operation. The bond matrix is tuned for wet cutting, so heat is carried away continuously — the blade runs cooler, lasts longer, and the cut edge is cleaner.Special Bond for Ultra-Compact Stone
Bond hardness is matched to Dekton and similar UCS materials (sintered stone, Neolith, Lapitec, infinity). The diamond exposes at the right rate — no glazing, no premature wear.Silent Core (静音基体)
Laser-cut expansion slots in the steel core absorb vibration and reduce cutting noise. Quieter shop, less operator fatigue, better cut quality.Straight & Smooth Cut
High concentricity and tight segment tolerance deliver a straight cut line and a smooth cut surface. Reduces or eliminates downstream grinding and chamfering.Stable Cutting Pressure
Forgiving on the machine. The blade tracks smoothly without grabbing, so even thin Dekton panels (3–12 mm) cut clean without cracking.Specifications

What is a “Silent Core”?
A silent core (also called a “silent” or “low-noise” blade core) is a steel body with laser-cut expansion slots cut in a specific pattern around the blade. These slots do three things at once:- Absorb vibration. The slots decouple the cutting zone from the rest of the blade, so the cut runs smoothly without chatter.
- Reduce noise. A silent core typically runs 5–10 dB quieter than a solid core — significant in a production shop where 8–10 blades are running at once.
- Compensate for thermal expansion. As the blade heats up, the slots let it expand without warping, which keeps the cut straight.

Compatible Materials
The Silent Core Dekton Blade is engineered for ultra-compact surfaces. It also performs well on:Choosing the Right Diameter
- 200 / 250 mm — hand-held saws, light miter saws, on-site trimming.
- 300 / 350 mm — mid-size miter saws, small bridge saws, countertop fabrication shops.
- 400 / 450 mm — large bridge saws, full-size CNC, production cutting of full slabs. (450 mm is the most popular in Dekton fabrication shops.)

How to Get the Best Cut on Dekton
- Always use water. Dry cutting this blade will destroy the bond and the Dekton panel in seconds. Set up a steady water feed before you start.
- Score first on thick slabs. For Dekton thicker than 20 mm, make a 5–10 mm scoring pass first, then a full-depth pass. This prevents chipping on the face.
- Use moderate feed speed. Pushing the blade hard generates heat, which shortens life and chips the edge. Let the diamond do the work.
- Support the offcut. Dekton is heavy and brittle. A well-supported offcut prevents the cut-off piece from snapping and ruining the slab.
- Check the blade for glazing. If the cut slows down and the diamond looks shiny, dress the blade on a dressing stick before continuing.
Recommended Applications
- Dekton slab cutting for kitchen countertops, bathroom vanities, wall cladding
- Sintered stone cutting for facades, flooring, custom furniture
- Neolith / Lapitec / Infinity ultra-compact surface cutting
- Engineered quartz cutting (where chip-free edge is critical)
- Hard granite cutting (the silent core also helps on granite)
- Bridge saw and CNC cutting of full-size ultra-compact slabs
- Production shops cutting 50–200+ m² of Dekton per day

What is a Dekton saw blade?
A Dekton saw blade is a diamond blade specifically engineered to cut Dekton and other ultra-compact surfaces (UCS). It uses a special bond, high-frequency welded segments, and often a silent core. Regular granite or porcelain blades glaze, chip, or wear out very quickly on Dekton because the material is too hard and dense. Why is the silent core important on a Dekton blade?
The silent core uses laser-cut expansion slots that absorb vibration and reduce noise. On a brittle material like Dekton, vibration is what causes edge chipping. A silent core produces a cleaner cut edge and a quieter shop — especially valuable in production environments with multiple blades running at once. What does “high-frequency welded” mean?
High-frequency welded (or laser-brazed) means the diamond segment is metallurgically bonded to the steel core, not just sintered or glued. The segment will not release under heavy load. This is critical on Dekton because a lost segment can ruin an expensive slab and damage the machine. Is this blade wet or dry?
Wet only. Dekton is sensitive to thermal shock, and the segment bond is designed for water-cooled operation. Dry cutting this blade will destroy the bond and may crack the Dekton panel. The machine must have a working water feed system. Can this blade cut Neolith, Lapitec, and other ultra-compact surfaces?
Yes. The Silent Core Dekton Blade is formulated for the whole ultra-compact surface family — Dekton, Neolith, Lapitec, Infinity, and other sintered stones. If you’re not sure about a specific brand, send us the material data sheet and we’ll confirm.Which arbor size do I need — 50 mm or 60 mm?
50 mm is the standard arbor for most bridge saws and many CNC machines. 60 mm is for larger CNCs and some specialty machines. Check your machine’s spindle spec. Send us your machine model and we’ll confirm the right arbor. What thickness of Dekton can I cut with each size?
General rule: the blade diameter must be at least 3× the material thickness. So 200 mm cuts up to ~20 mm Dekton; 300 mm cuts up to ~30 mm; 450 mm cuts up to ~50 mm (or even thicker with multiple passes). Can I get custom sizes or bonds?
Yes. Custom diameters (up to 600 mm), arbor sizes, segment heights, and bond hardness for specific UCS materials are all available. MOQ for custom orders is typically 20 pieces. How long does a Dekton blade last?
Service life depends on the Dekton thickness, water flow, machine power, and feed speed. As a rough guide, a 450 mm blade on standard 12 mm Dekton produces 800–2,000 linear meters of cut before replacement. Dressing the blade when it glazes extends life significantly.Do you offer OEM / private-label manufacturing?
Yes. Western Land offers full OEM / ODM service: custom specs, private-label packaging, and bonded warehouse programs for high-volume buyers.Need a quote, custom size, or full-line spec for Dekton cutting?
